- Martine Joins Licensure Board
On April 29, 2008 Strada principal John Martine, AIA, began his tenure as a member of the Pennsylvania State Licensure Board. Martine is one of five registered architects on the nine-person board and will serve until June 5, 2010. The State Architects Licensure Board’s mission is to protect the health, safety, and property of the people of the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania through the regulation of the practice and licensure of the architectural profession. The Board is responsible for upholding and promoting the standards of professional conduct and establishing rules and regulations for the examination of licensure applicants. Board members are appointed by the Governor and confirmed by the Senate.
