Strada is in the design development phase of a feasibility study to renovate this historic church, designed by Henry Hornbostel. Built in 1926, the church’s façade is decorative cast stone and limestone and has a unique cast aluminum steeple. Michael Stern, Strada principal, and Sean Beasley, an intern architect at the firm, spent the day rappelling and surveying the façade of the building, evaluating the condition of the mortar and stone. Michael is an experienced climber with ropes; this was Sean’s first experience with rappelling.
