- Alan J. Cuteri, AIA Receives SCUP Planning Institute Certification
PITTSBURGH, PA – Strada proudly announces that Alan J. Cuteri, AIA, Principal recently received a Certificate of Completion from the Society of College and University Planners (SCUP) Planning Institute. Completing all three Institute sessions over the past two years, Al is one of the first 28 professionals internationally to earn this certificate. SCUP's Planning Institute is designed to give professionals an understanding of integrated campus planning issues and processes and to help develop analytical, strategic, and practical implementation skills. The Institute allows participants to continue enhancing their effectiveness as planners in higher education. Each of the Institute's sessions builds on the knowledge gained in the preceding session and allows participants to network with a cross-section of professionals. Cuteri, AIA, Principal-in-Charge, is LEED certified and has designed and managed over 100 projects for the University of Pittsburgh and Carnegie Mellon University over the past ten years. Additional clients include California University of Pennsylvania and Community College of Allegheny County. Currently, Alan directing the design of Pitt’s new public safety building project and California University’s Roadman Park Master Plan. Alan is dedicated to a collaborative design process that brings quality solutions to enhance the learning and living experience of students, faculty, and staff. Strada, an architecture, interior design, landscape, and urban design firm, is located in Pittsburgh, PA.
