McCarl Center for Nontraditional Student Success
Pittsburgh, PA
Client: University of Pittsburgh
“Non-traditional students” are an ever changing and diverse population of the College of General Studies, many of them coming to university education later in life. The mission of the Center is to provide programs and services to promote and support their academic success, career development, and personal growth. The architectural objective was to translate these goals into an environment in which the nontraditional student could feel comfortable and thrive in a university setting.
