The conversion of a 1,750 s.f. automotive engine lab into a hi-tech bioimaging facility provided a unique opportunity to use the high ceilings and large south-facing windows of an industrial space to create an environment filled with light, warm colors, and contrasting materials. Strategically placing the program to enhance these qualities became the primary goal of the design.
