

The Thornburgh Room

The Dick Thornburgh Room, located in 1,700 s.f. of prominent space inside Pitt’s Hillman Library, is an interactive learning center that facilitates and encourages the exploration of government service through the examination of the life and experiences of Dick Thornburgh. The room also allows for interaction through meetings, presentations, and discussions with faculty, students, and local government officials. Completed in the Fall of 2006, the state-of-the-art facility showcases the archives of Dick Thornburgh, former Governor of Pennsylvania and U.S. Attorney General.
