Public Safety Building

The 23,200 s.f. building houses the University Police and Environmental Health and Safety Departments. A campus-wide security system, which includes video monitoring and rapid emergency response, is run from the new state-of-the-art command center. The Public Safety building gives the police department a visual presence at the entrance to the Oakland campus. Completed in December 2006, the four-story building provides on-site covered parking for police vehicles.
