East Liberty Place is a four-story mixed-use, mixed-income, development with ground floor retail and 54, one and two-bedroom rental apartments. The new structure is the replacement for high-rise public housing from the 1960's and was designed with input from the community; it is part of a master development plan for this vital link between East Liberty and the Friendship/Garfield area. Among the amenities for tenants are a landscaped playground and secured surface parking. East Liberty Place was designed to meet LEED for Homes certification and built by Sota Construction.
